The Harlem Watch brand is about paying homage to and sharing Harlem’s history in a uniquely meaningful way. We are also working within our community to boost reading programs for kids in Harlem, and we sponsor local events that help mentor new fashion designers.
DOES YOUR ORGANIZATION GIVE TO CHARITY?
Yes. We give 10% and more of our watch sales to The Harlem Kids Zone (HKZ), and The Children’s Aid Society, along with events that support up-and-coming fashion designers. We have chosen the Harlem Kids Zone, and The Children’s Aid Society because they are dedicated to helping kids improve their ability to read and teach them the skills needed to succeed in school and get into college.
DO YOU OFFER CUSTOMIZATION ON YOUR WATCHES?
Yes, we offer engraving services on both our men's watches and women's watches. You can choose up to 50 characters in your personal message. There is a nominal fee for this service. Please allow up to an additional 7 days for delivery.
DOES THE LOGO HAVE A PARTICULAR MEANING?
Yes. Our letter “H” logo represents Harlem, and the Diamond within the letter “H” represents a diamond in the rough. The diamond in the rough represents the powerful stories developed and ready to be discovered surrounding Harlem’s history.
WHAT DOES THE COLUMNS ON THE WATCH FACE REPRESENT?
The two Ionic Greek Columns represent strength and longevity. Specifically, the strength and longevity of the founder’s 99-year-old Grandmother, and 82-year-old Mom - the family Matriarchs. The Ionic Columns will be near the number four in some form on our watches. The columns and their position on the watch also hint at the exact location the founder was raised in Harlem, which also happens to be where Billy Holiday once lived.
WHAT IS THE SYMBOL AT THE NUMBER SIX POSITION?
This symbol at the number six position is the Mayan number 6, and it is on our watches to honor the founder’s six generations of Harlem heritage.
HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE FOR SHIPPING?
We offer free shipping to contiguous US destinations. There are additional charges for shipments outside the US.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
We offer repair or replacement on issues that are warranty-related. Please note, due to the personalization of engraving there are no returns on timepieces with engraving.
DO YOU OFFER A WARRANTY?
Yes, we offer a standard warranty on our timepieces of up to 1 year. We also offer an additional warranty extending the warranty to 2 years for a nominal fee.
